Day 4: Day Free/ Excursion to Samarkand
Wake up to a bright and beautiful morning and enjoy healthy breakfast at hotel’s coffee shop.
Standard Option: You can laze up in bed for longer as you have the day free at your own leisure. You can enjoy some local activities or go out exploring nearby areas. In the afternoon, go out for lunch. Return to hotel and catch on some sleep or step out for some window shopping in local markets.
Add-On Option: Set out for a full day excursion at Samarkand. Transfer to Railway Station to board the Bullet train
to Samarkand at 08.00am. Two hours one way, it moves at a speed of 220 kms per hour and is a unique experience in itself. Samarkand is the former capital of the Great Amir Temur Conqueror. Visit Rukhabad Mausoleum, the house of Spirit built in 14th century, Hazrat-Hyzr Mosque constructed long back in 1823 on a hill and the architectural complex Shakhi-Zinda meaning the Alive King that was formed over nine centuries (11-19th) and it is believed that the king is still living here. Take a break for lunch at local restaurant. Later proceed for Samarkand City Tour. Visit Boulevard & Lions Street, the magnificent Registon Square with three Madrasahs (15th -17th century), the noblest square in Central Asia (outside for photo stop only), Guri Emir mausoleum- the graveyard of Great Amir Temur and Temurids Dynasty (entrance included) and the Bibikhonum Mosque (outside only). Later transfer to Samarkand Railway Station to board return Bullet Train to Tashkent.
In the evening, get ready for Gala Dinner that will include 2 veg. and non-veg. Indian starters, 2 veg. and 1 non-veg. Indian main course, 2 hours of free flow of soft drinks, beer, local vodka, unlimited water and ice cubes along with exclusive Belly Dancing Show with Turkish, Arabic and Indian dance performances, live DJ and music. After a fun filled evening, retire for a relaxed sleep in hotel.
Stay overnight at hotel in Tashkent. (B + L + D)
