On arrival at Bagdogra Airport, our local tour representative will meet you at the specified area and transfer you to Gangtok (130 kms, approx. 6-7 hours drive).

Gangtok: At an altitude of 1750m, Gangtok became the state capital in the mid 19th century and has undergone rapid development since then. The downtown area is dominated by huge government buildings decorated with traditional Buddhist symbols. Gangtok is also a resting ground for people traveling to North Sikkim. Surrounded by Monasteries and Orchids, Gangtok is truly a travellers delight.

Today morning take a fill at morning breakfast. Today we’ll go for a day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (Timing will depend on the issuance of Permit). Situated at a height of 12,400 feet and an average depth of 50 ft, the lake offers serene and breathtaking beauty with sparkling blue water. Being on such a height, it is highly advisable to carry heavy woollens with you. It is about 45 kms away and takes approx. 3 hours to reach. Tsomgo / Tshangu / Changu Lake is regarded as a very sacred lake by local Buddhists and Hindus. The lake keeps frozen from winters to mid May. You can enjoy a yak ride here (on your own expense). Just on the lake side, visit the Baba Mandir, temple of Lord Shiva built in memory of sepoy Harbhajan Singh. Primula flowers and other alpine plantation provide an immaculate beauty to this place. Later return back to hotel in Gangtok and retire in your cozy bed for a relaxed sleep.

Today morning have your breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Lachen (120 kms, approx. 5 hours drive). Visit villages and majestic water falls enroute your drive to Lachen.

At an altitude of 8500 feet, Lachen is a simple yet absolutely alluring destination. Check in at hotel on arrival and after relaxing for a while, step out and explore the nearby areas. Stroll in the mesmerising environs, see the simple local life of the ‘Lachenpas’ and you can also go to the Lachen Gompa. Later return to hotel for dinner.

Today early morning, step out to visit Gurudongmar Lake. It is one of the highest lakes in the world and also considered sacred by Buddhists, Sikhs and Hindus. Later return to the hotel and have a fill at breakfast.

Today we check out from the hotel and continue our journey to Lachung (60 kms, approx. 2 hours drive).

On arrival check in at hotel and relax. Reaching such high altitude, take longer breathes and proper relaxation as your body will need time to acclimatise to this climate. After having dinner sleep relaxed in your hotel.

Wake up to stunning views of sunrise over the snow clad peaks. Have a fill at morning breakfast and proceed for a visit to Yumthang Valley, famous for a variety of blooming Rhododendrons. Situated at a height of 11800 feet, Yumthang is the grazing ground of yaks in summer and playground of yetis in winter. After enjoying in this beautiful valley, we return to the hotel.

Today we check out from the hotel as we have to leave for Gangtok (110 kms, approx. 5 hours drive). On arrival check in at hotel and relax. After relaxing for a while, step out for some shopping in the local markets. Enjoy the local life and vibrant culture. You can visit monasteries that are truly enchanting and worth a visit.

Today morning after breakfast, Pack your bags & check out from the hotel. Later take transfer to Bagdogra Airport (130 kms, approx. 6 hours drive) & board your flight for Delhi. (B)
