A wonderful journey will start at 8AM from Connaught Place to Agra, one of the most historical destinations of India’s history. The drive will take approximately 4 hours. On the way to Agra, take a stop for light refreshment and then continue your journey with a visit to Agra Fort where Shah Jahan was deposed and restrained by his son, Aurangzeb. Visit its presidential palaces, Halls of Public and Private Audience, beautiful gardens and the famous Musamman Burj where Shah Jahan had died, a beautiful marble floored tower giving views of Taj Mahal.
After this visit, Check in to your hotel and catch a breather. Thereafter in the evening proceed to visit the world’s emblem of love- Taj Mahal, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. It was built in 1632-1653. (Please note that Taj Mahal remains closed every Friday).
Later return to the hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel in Agra.
