On arrival at Bagdogra Airport/ New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, our local tour representative will meet you at the specified area and transfer you to Mirik (50 kms, approx. 1 hour drive). Check in at hotel and enjoy a day at leisure.

Mirik is a picturesque small village surrounded by forested hills at an altitude of 5800 ft. The most famous attraction here is Sumendu Lake, a spectacular man-made lake with a garden on one side and pine forest on the other connected over the lake by Rainbow Bridge. Enjoy Mt. Kanchenjunga views while strolling, boating or pony riding (direct payment). It also offers beautiful orange orchards, cardamom plantations and tea estates.

Enjoy a tranquil morning at Mirik and relish breakfast in the beautiful environs. Check out from the hotel and drive to Darjeeling (approx 1.5 hours drive). En route visit Pashupati Market on Nepal border (Note: need extra vehicle to enter the market, direct payment). After shopping, proceed for drive to Darjeeling, one of the most beautiful hill resorts. Check in at hotel on arrival and enjoy evening at your own leisure. A relaxed stroll in the nearby area will give you a good feel of the city. Catch an early sleep as the next day we will go for early morning tour.

Today early morning at 4.00 AM, step out to visit Tiger Hill, the famous spot to witness a beautiful sunrise with amazing colour effects on Mt. Kanchendzonga, world’s third highest peak. Also visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop while returning back to the hotel. Take a fill at morning breakfast at hotel and later proceed to visit the most famous 7 points that Darjeeling offers. It includes the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute & PN Zoological Park (both closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Self Help Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer views), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda & Ropeway (operational, ropeway ride charges to be paid directly by the guest). Later, evening is free at leisure. You can explore the local markets in this time.

Today morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for Gangtok via Peshok. We pass through the middle of lush green famous Darjeeling Tea Gardens. Proceed further to Gangtok crossing spectacular landscapes of small Sikkim hill towns and mountain views. On arrival at Gangtok, check in at hotel and relax. Rest of the day is free at your own leisure when you can go for some shopping at MG Marg or stroll in the local lanes to enjoy the mesmerising beauty of the surroundings. Later return to hotel and snug in your bed for a cozy sleep.

Wake up early, have a fill at morning breakfast and set out to cover breathtaking sights of Gangtok. Visit Hanuman Talk, Ganesh Talk and Tashi View Points. Further, proceed to the seven best offerings of the city being Rumtek Monastery/ Jhakri Water Falls, Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms (Closed on Sunday), Cable Car (Own Ticket), Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Do-Dul-Chorten (Stupa), Botanical Gardens & Flower show. After local sightseeing, the evening is free for your own leisure and local shopping.

Wake up to a beautiful morning and take a fill at morning breakfast. Today we’ll go for a day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (Timing will depend on the issuance of Permit). Situated at a height of 3,780 meters with an average depth of 50 ft, the lake offers serene and breathtaking beauty with sparkling blue water. Just on the lake side, visit the Baba Mandir, temple of Lord Shiva built in memory of sepoy Harbhajan Singh. Primula flowers and other alpine plantation provide an immaculate beauty to this place. Till April it is full of snow and lay frozen. Later return back to hotel in Gangtok and retire in your cozy bed for a relaxed sleep.

Today morning, laze up in your cozy bed followed by an extensive breakfast. Later check out from the hotel and transfer to Bagdogra Airport/ New Jalpaiguri Railway Station for your return/onward journey.
