Itinerary

Day 01: By Flight - Delhi to Varanasi

By Flight - Delhi to Varanasi | Transfer to hotel | Evening visit to Ghat to see Ganga Aarti

On arrival at Varanasi airport, you will meet our driver/ representative and transfer to your booked hotel.

Varanasi formerly known as Benares, is the most popular pilgrimage point for the Hindus and one of the seven holiest cities. Considered as the abode of Lord Shiva, Varanasi is situated on the banks of River Ganges, which is believed to have the power of washing away all of one's sins.

Later proceed to visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Ghats crossing local market and witness the evening Aarti Ceremony on the Ganges. "Agni Pooja" (Worship to Fire) is performed by a group of priests wherein the dedication is made to Lord Shiva, River Ganga (the Ganges), Surya (Sun), Agni (Fire), and the whole universe. (You have to walk through the market for 500-800 meters and a few down steps to reach the ghats).
