The entire Mauritius attractions is divided into 5 zones namely North, East, West, South East and the Interiors. Grand Bay was the first area of the island to fully experience the tourist boom. A shopping and leisure paradise, Grand Bay also happens to be the area where Mauritians head for when they want a fun-filled night out restaurants, bars and discos. Recently renovated, La Cuvette beach is well worth a visit. The East zone has the following attractions - Flacq Market, Waterpark Leisure Village, Ile aux Cerfs, and the famous "The Coco Beach Hotel" and the famed 5-star hotel "Le Touessrok". The south east zones attractions are: Blue Bay, Dutch Ruins, Ile aux Aigrettes, Mahebourg, Domaine du Chasseur and Souillac.
