The Golden Gate Bike Tour starts from 1300 hours and you have to make your own arrangements to reach the tour starting point - 899 Columbus Avenue (Tour Center), San Francisco, CA 94133. Here you will get a bike and necessary equipments following which you will accompany an English speaking guide who will show the important landmarks of San Francisco city. You will enjoy a bike ride on the Bay Trail over the famous Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito and will return to San Francisco by ferryboat. The tour is an easy 14 kilometer adventure and the majority of the ride is flat with few hill climbs and the last 3 miles are mostly downhill. Sights of interest include Fisherman’s Wharf, Aquatic Park, Ghirardelli Square, Fort Mason, the Marina Green, Crissy Field, the Palace of Fine Arts, the Presidio, Fort Point, the Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito shops, Alcatraz, Angel Island and more. The tour ends when participants arrive in Sausalito, usually around 3:30 PM. Riders can then catch a ferryboat back to San Francisco at own cost.
