During a city tour of Kuala Lumpur you will visit the following places:

Independence Square: The independence Square is also known as the Dataran Merdeka and is located in front of Sultan Abdul Samad Building. This is the place where for the first time Union jack was lowered and replaced by Malaysian flag at the midnight of 31st August 1957. This place hosts an annual National Day Parade each year in Kuala Lumpur.

King’s Palace: Also known as Istana Negara is the royal residency of the King of Malaysia. It is spread in an area of 28 acres site. This palace was build by Chinese millionaire in the year 1928. During Japanese Occupation it served as the Officer’s mess. After the Japanese surrender, the palace was brought and since then is used as the royal residence of King of Malaysia.

National Monument: The National Monument is dedicated to the fallen warriors, who have sacrificed their lives in order to save the country from the threat of communism. It is also the world’s largest free standing sculpture.

Twin Towers: The Petronas Twin Tower of Kuala Lumpur is world renowned building and is the tallest twin building in the World. National Muzium: Also known as Muzium Negara is an important Museum of Kuala Lumpur where the history and heritage is preserved. The building was re built after it was destroyed by US bomber during world war second. The Beryl Chocolate Kingdom is a large museum of various types of chocolate where you can gorge on to delicious chocolates. If it is open on the day of your visit, you can visit it.
