Day 1: Arrive Cochin & Drive to Munnar
Arrive Cochin. Meet & assistance on Arrival by Representative of Local tour operator. Further you will drive to Munnar.Munnar is at 1800 meters above the Sea Level & is called as “Nature Lover’s Paradise”. Arrive Munnar & Check in to the Hotel. Remaining day is Free at own Leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 2: Munnar
After Breakfast in the Morning, you can go for Sightseeing tour of Munnar, which includes the Raja Malai, a top peak of Munnar where you can see Neel Thar (mountain goats), Muttupetty dam, Indo Swiss project, you can also enjoy boating in the Lake (optional). Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Munnar - Thekkady
After breakfast, Check out from the Hotel in Munnar & Continue to Thekkady the famous wild life sanctuary of South India. On arrival check in at hotel. Periyar wildlife sanctuary, home to nomadic tribes of wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more. Evening go for boat cruise in the lake to watch wild animals. Overnight at Resort.
Day 4: Thekkady - Kumarakom
After Breakfast, you will Check out from the Hotel & further drive to Kumarakom. Kumarakom has an immense Natural Beauty. It is famous for the Backwaters, Houseboat holidays, Marine & Coir Products. The beautiful Swamps and a Fish Sanctuary are some other attractions of Kumarakom. The Vembanad Lake is one of the longest Lake in India and is at its maximum widest point in Kumarakom.In the afternoon, visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, which is a favourite hunt of migratory birds from across the world which makes it a renowned bird watching centre. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 5: Kumarakom - Alleppey - Kumarakom
After brealfast, proceed to Alleppey which is also known as “Venice of the East”. There you will enjoy 4 Hour Houseboat ride and also have freshly prepared Lunch in the Houseboat. The Houseboat is the Best possible option to explore the Backwater Beauty of the region. The livelihood of the people in this Region is mostly dependent on the Backwater. You may come across the venders, selling Fresh Vegetables, Sea Food, etc. on the Small Boats. After completing this tour, you will drive back to Kumarakom. Overnight stay at Kumarakom.
Day 6: Kumarakom - Kovalam
After breakfast in the morning, drive to Kovalam.Kovalam is a Dreamland for tourists, all over the World. With high rock promontory and a calm bay of blue waters, this beach paradise creates a unique aquarelle on moonlit nights. Kovalam was brought to the public eye by the Maharaja of Travancore. Over the past three decades, the place has been well developed, and now figures prominently on the world tourism map. The warm and clean atmosphere by the coconut trees and the white sand Beaches are perfect for relaxing holidays, as the seabreeze gently plays with the waves. Relax at the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 7: Kovalam - Kanyakumari - Kovalam
After Breakfast in the morning, proceed for Kanyakumari Sightseeing tour.
Kanyakumari 90 kms from Kovalam is located at the Southern tip of the Indian subcontinent in Tamil Nadu. The District is bound by Tirunelveli District on the North and the East. The South Eastern boundary is the Gulf of Munnar. On the South and the South West, the boundaries are the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea. On the West and North West it is bound by Kerala.
Enjoy the evening sunset from the Vivekananda Rock, where you can reach through locally operated motorboats.
Drive back to Kovalam. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8: Kovalam - Trivandrum
It’s time to bid Farewell & Return back home with wonderful memories of the Trip. You will be dropped at Airport / Railway Station to board Flight / Train for onward Destination.
